Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate Quality Assurance & DevOps Engineer to join our R&D team in Bellaterra (Barcelona, Spain)
The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Prepare, document, and execute detailed test plans for the videosurveillance software products of the company.
Design and implement automated unit tests and user interface tests on desktop applications.
Migrate manual regression test cases to automation.
Manual test of software on non-automated scenarios.
Create a DevOps methodology for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Deliver state of the art software in an agile environment within a highly collaborative team of engineers.
Requirements
MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecom Engineering or equivalent.
Experienced with manual and automated testing using software quality assurance best practices.
Strong understanding and experience with CI pipeline builds using Jenkins or similar toolsets.
Proficiency in scripting languages.
Experience on unit test tools (Google Test, Nunit, etc.), user interface test tools (Ranorex, Coded UI, etc.) and test management tools (Zephyr, TestLink, TestRail, etc.) for desktop PC applications.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
Experience with Docker is a plus.
Experience using virtual machines is a plus.
Fluent in spoken and written English. Other languages will be positively valued.
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
