Fun and entertainment are the main attractions in Patong (Thailand), which is why the city council has invested in the DAVANTIS video analytics system to increase local security. A resort such as this receives large numbers of holidaymakers looking for fun and must ensure optimal protection. That’s where we stepped in to offer our solutions. The DAVANTIS video analytics system integrated into the Teleste platform with 18 cameras was the answer the problem. The ensemble provides effective surveillance of restricted areas, alerting to intruders, boats infringing areas reserved for swimmers and detecting signs that something is not quite right. We also provided technical advice and a training course. That’s how DAVANTIS has contributed to security in Patong: a destination well worth visiting.
