Every year, the DAVANTIS team comes together for something more than a work meeting. The Summer Meet-up is our way of celebrating what we have built together, sharing where we are headed and, above all, reminding ourselves that behind every line of code and every system deployed there are people who genuinely enjoy working as a team. The 2026 edition was no exception: it was, without a doubt, one of the best yet.
A Day of Big News: DFUSION /3 and the Future of Computer Vision
The day kicked off with a packed session of commercial and product presentations that had the whole team on the edge of their seats. Headline news of the morning was the showcase of the latest updates to DFUSION /3, our intelligent video analysis platform, which keeps evolving to deliver more powerful, more precise and more tailored solutions to our customers’ real-world needs.
Our product team walked everyone through the most recent advances in detection and analysis capabilities, with new features that significantly expand what DFUSION /3 can do today across industrial, logistics, critical infrastructure and many other environments. Performance improvements, new integrations and a more intuitive user experience were among the main highlights of the presentation.
However, the moment that generated the most excitement was the computer vision showcase. The team revealed some of the capabilities that will be coming to the product soon: genuinely surprising features that open up new possibilities for our customers and cement DAVANTIS as a reference in the application of artificial intelligence to real-time visual analysis. Without going into all the details —some still in development— it was clear that the best is yet to come.
Overall, the morning session was also a valuable opportunity to align the commercial team with the technology roadmap, reinforce the DAVANTIS value message and build confidence in a product that never stops growing. Questions, debates and more than a few moments of genuine surprise set the pace of a very productive morning.
From the Meeting Room to the Racetrack: Team Building, DAVANTIS Style
The second day was dedicated entirely to team building, with mixed teams facing three challenges designed to bring out the best —and the most competitive— in everyone.
Karting: Engines roared and lap times told the truth. The karting track was the scene of epic overtakes, last-lap strategies and the occasional emergency brake. The rivalry was real, but so were the laughs.
Laser tag: On the laser battlefield, tactics and teamwork were everything. Each team deployed their own strategies —with mixed results— in rounds that put everyone’s coordination and reflexes to the test.
Bowling: The most technical of the three challenges revealed some surprising hidden talent across the company. Strikes celebrated like goals, lanes nobody wants to remember and scores that sparked more than one debate about whether success was skill or luck.
Ultimately, the mixed-team format —bringing together people from different departments to share experiences outside their usual context— is one of the keys to the Summer Meet-up. Getting to know each other better, laughing together and discovering new sides of your colleagues has a real impact on how we work together the rest of the year.
The Summer Meet-up 2026 Ends the Same Way It Begins: Together
After the physical —and competitive— efforts of the afternoon, the full team gathered to share a meal at a restaurant where the atmosphere, the food and the conversation were all worthy of the occasion. Long table, overlapping conversations, spontaneous toasts and that special energy that only forms when a team shares something beyond projects and meetings.
It was the perfect close to two days that captured what DAVANTIS does best: technological ambition and team spirit.

The Summer Meet-up is not just an item on the company calendar. It is an annual reminder of why we do what we do and who we do it with. A team that innovates, competes, laughs and eats together is a team that builds things that matter.
